Australia's seasons are the opposite of the northern hemisphere, so it's important to follow local timing when it comes to your succulents.
Spring (September–November) — Best time to plant: Repot into a larger container, propagate new plants from cuttings, and start feeding monthly.
Summer (December–February) — Watch the heat: Water slightly more frequently in extreme heat and move pots out of direct afternoon sun.
Autumn (March–May) — Wind down: Reduce watering and feeding. Enjoy the beautiful autumn colours some succulents display.
Winter (June–August) — Rest period: Water very sparingly — once every 3–4 weeks. Avoid repotting during winter.
